Our Canadian operation, based in Campbell River, BC, is currently seeking an energetic, motivated Administrative Coordinator for our Human Resources Department.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-level clerical/administrative support to the Human Resources Department, in particular, completing the daily workflow processes, benefits administration, data entry, research and analysis, spreadsheet and document creation, and resolving and/or referring administrative problems. This is a key support role in the department and working closely with the HR Manager and staff to ensure the delivery of excellent HR services to the Organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for organized and proficient data entry as well as filing documentation, managing department invoices, and collecting documentation while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
•Provides assistance and direction to employees in response to human resources questions, including following up and escalation as necessary.
•Benefits administration.
•Conducts research and acts as a resource person on designated projects.
•Provides general support to the human resources team on assorted tasks and projects.
•Provides administrative health & safety support as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
•5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a related industrial industry.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office with considerable experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence, reports, formal presentation materials and meeting minutes in a timely and accurate fashion.
•Accommodating, personable and comfortable with diverse groups of people.
•Highly organized and able to handle a high workload while having strong attention to detail.
•Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters using tact and discretion as appropriate.
•Ability to conduct basic research and analysis.
