Details:
This position is the first point of contact in our home. Thus must be positive and outgoing and willing to attend to other's needs Reporting directly to the Director of Care/Site Leader and Office Manager
Acts as a receptionist, responding to routine inquiries from staff, residents, volunteers, visitors and family members.
Answering of the phone and takes messages and /or directs inquiries to the appropriate department.

Types, formats documents such as forms, correspondence, bulletins, meeting announcements, newsletters, departmental lists, presentation materials.
Assists with orientation of new staff.
Assists with special projects as assigned.
Assists with the administative requirements related to admission, internal trasfer and discharge of residents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Good knowledge of office systems, procedures and practices. Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to plan and organize work, problem solve and exercise good judgement. Experience working in a health care facility and respect for confidentiality.
