POSITION TITLE:
INSTRUCTOR – Business Program Instructor (Office Administration / Accounting)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Instruct all courses in the Business Program (Office Administration, Accounting & Finance and Business Computer Applications), within the guidelines and using the curriculum provided by the College.
Instructors must support the College’s mission statement and objectives in the learning and teaching environment. Instructors should be caring and supportive with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have:
• Certificate related to accounting and/or bookkeeping and 24 months related occupational experience.
OR
• 10 years related occupational experience
AND
• Certificate related to computerized business applications and 24 months related occupational experience.
OR
• 10 years related occupational experience.
The applicant should be an experienced user of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access and Excel, together with a working knowledge of Simply Accounting and Quickbooks.

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time position (2x days / 16 hours per week). Teaching schedules may vary and applicants should be available to teach days, evenings, and weekends.
