Details:
Financial Services Firm in Campbell River, BC looking for a limited part-time Administrative Assistant - Marketing/Sales who will work alongside an Investment Advisor with goals to help develop their business. This position has high potential to transition into a 1 year full time contract Associate position covering an upcoming maternity leave in Jan/Feb.
What will you do?
As a Administrative Assistant - Marketing/Sales you will be responsible for contacting clients and introducing Investment Advisor services.
•Investigate and resolve inquiries related to accounts and refer to the Investment Advisor where appropriate
•Introduction of clients to Investment Advisors
•Handle daily mail coming in and out on behalf of the advisor
•Manage a number of business building/prospecting initiatives on behalf of the Advisor
•Responsible for website maintenance and social media coordination.
•Data entry required within a variety of software's as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
What do you need to succeed?/Would be an asset but NOT required:
•The ideal candidate should have at least one year experience in the investment/financial field
•Strong computer skills
•Exceptional client service skills
•Experience in a dynamic work environment
•Strong oral and written English communication skills
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks
•Ability to work independently with little supervision
Nice-to-have:
•Enrollment in the CSC would be considered an asset but is not required.
•University/College degree
•Strong knowledge of the investment/financial field
