Details:
We are looking for a motivated individual for to join the finance team in our head office, located in Campbell River.
Responsibilities include: - Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team - Ensuring the appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
- Overseeing the payroll, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, fleet management and purchase orders. - Overseeing the preparation of all government returns - Cash Management and preparation of cash flows forecasts
- Preparation of Monthly Consolidation P&L and Balance Sheet - Preparation of Year End Statements for review by outside accounting firm.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education and Experience - knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset - multi company, multi province experience is an asset - 3 – 5 years full cycle bookkeeping experience - Accounting designation or comparable experience
Key Competencies - excellent verbal, phone and email communication - must be a team player - attention to detail and high level of accuracy - ability to problem solve - organizing, prioritizing and ability to meet deadlines - ability to work in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions
